Sierra Leone

A real challenge was my trip through Sierra Leone. From tick jungles to sandy paradise beaches it fascinates you with it’s beauty.  Now, after the end of civil war, Sierra Leone still has a long way until it can reach economical stability, but it’s the country from West Africa with the biggest potential. Rich in minerals, but full of corrupt state officials, it’s a country full of contrasts. A country were Christians and Muslims live together in real tolerance. Where no one can really know the exact distance from point A to point B. The people here, even though they belong to different ethnic groups and do speak their tribal language were altogether really friendly and hospitable with us. From the border with Liberia to the capital Freetown in the Western Area I had a unforgettable adventure.
