What is the first thing that comes through your mind when you hear this name? You can choose from civil war, cannibalism and warlords. Well this is how I perceived this country after watching Vice Guide in Liberia. I read on the internet all sort of crazy things about it. But I knew things changed after the civil war. I was sure it was improving. But to test that, I wanted to see it for myself. So since I was there in West Africa, why not give Liberia a chance? And it was one of the best decision of my life – and I don’t get to say this really often. There I met Emmanuel, my host from Coushsurfing who represents all that is good in this country : trust, hope and real friendship.
